CRESUS (Regional Chamber for Social Overindebtedness)

CRESUS (Regional Chamber for Social Overindebtedness) is a national participative association created in 1992. It receives, informs and advises people suffering from debt problems and helps them find solutions to their financial, social, legal and psychological difficulties. Since 2004 it has been a federation of nine regional chambers. Banque Accord has allied itself to CRESUS in order to improve the prevention of overindebtedness by means of operations and communal studies (including prevention and treatment tables) relating to access to consumer credit; to help people with debt problems; and to share and increase knowledge and real-life experiences with people suffering from debt problems.

ADIE

ADIE (Association for the right to Economic Initiative) is a national association, recognised for its public utility, that helps people set up their own business and employment when they have been excluded from the labour market and traditional banking system. It was created in 1989 by Maria Nowak to adapt the microcredit principle to the situation in France. Microcredit is very well developed in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Now millions of people around the world make a living from their own business, thanks to this type of funding. Microcredit has been expanding in industrialised countries in Europe and North America for the past fifteen years. Banque Accord has chosen to support ADIE in its operations by creating a free Visa card solely for entrepreneurs funded by the Association. It is a debit card that gives holders access to a modern payment method. In addition, Banque Accord finances the running of the Associations free phone number.
